Product Introduction
The external rubber water stop belt, also known as the back贴 water stop belt, utilizes the high elasticity and compressive deformation characteristics of rubber to produce elastic deformation under various pressures, thereby achieving a fastening sealing effect, effectively preventing water leakage in building structures and providing shock absorption. In many projects such as construction, water conservancy, and bridges, there are certain requirements for expansion, waterproofing, and shock resistance, and the use of the back贴 water stop belt effectively meets these requirements.
Product Usage
The external rubber water stop belt is mainly used in concrete pouring, set within construction joints, and integrated with concrete structures in foundational engineering, underground facilities, tunnels, aqueducts, water dams, and building expansion devices. Utilizing the high elasticity and compressive deformation characteristics of rubber, it produces elastic deformation under various pressures to achieve a fastening sealing effect, effectively preventing water leakage in building structures and providing shock absorption. In many projects such as construction, water conservancy, and bridges, there are certain requirements for expansion, waterproofing, and shock resistance, and the use of the back贴 water stop belt effectively meets these requirements.
Construction and Installation Methods
When installing the external rubber water stop belt, if it is found that part or all of it is buried in the concrete during the pouring process, and there are many sharp stones and sharp rebar ends in the concrete, since the tearing strength of plastic and rubber is 3-5 times lower than the tensile strength, once the water stop belt is pierced or torn, the crack will expand without much external force. Therefore, during the positioning of the water stop belt and the concrete pouring process, attention should be paid to the positioning method and pouring pressure to avoid piercing the water stop belt.
