Product Introduction
The embedded rubber water stop is a product mainly used for water stopping in concrete deformation joints, expansion joints, and other internal settings in concrete. It has the ability to adapt to the expansion and contraction of concrete through the elasticity of rubber materials and structural forms. This product utilizes the high elasticity and compressive deformation of rubber to produce elastic deformation under various loads, effectively preventing water leakage and seepage in building components, while also providing shock absorption and cushioning, ensuring the service life of engineering buildings.
Usage and Applicable Temperature
Standard type: -25℃~+60℃; Cold-resistant type: -40℃~+60℃
Joint Methods
There are two methods for joining the embedded rubber water stop: one is using adhesive for cold joints, and the other is using hot vulcanization molds for hot joints.
The adhesive cold joint method uses special cold adhesive for rubber water stops. The joint surface of the water stop that needs to be connected is ground smooth for 5~10 centimeters using a grinder, then adhesive is applied and pressed firmly. This method has the advantages of high strength, quick solidification, convenience in construction, and time-saving, meeting general engineering quality requirements.
On-site hot vulcanization jointing uses hot vulcanization molds and raw rubber sheets that match the water stop for on-site vulcanization. This method has a high level of difficulty in construction but achieves ideal jointing results, suitable for projects with strict quality requirements.
